I have extensive experience in knitwear design, particularly in managing in-house jacquard developments and garment printed artworks. I work directly with mills to address any yarn, content & printing recommendations and have a strong understanding of table printing techniques for engineered sweater artworks. Additionally, I troubleshoot with mills when resourcing developments to ensure the final effect, artwork, and handfeel align with the original samples.
I am also highly skilled in producing mill-ready graphic artworks, utilizing techniques such as digital, carousel, rotary, discharge, flocking, and foil printing.
I work closely with our VP of Design, Senior Merchandising Director, and Knit Designer to guide our team in overseeing surface design needs, including both purchased studio art and original in-house artworks, ensuring they align with the company’s objectives and brand identity. I allocate style suggestions with our VP of Production based on each mills strength and costing structure to ensure artwork parameters and printing methods meet margin goals & minimums.
